Rose Marketing UK wins Scottish Expansion & Growth Award

Rose Marketing UK is kicking the new week off in style after winning the Scottish Expansion & Growth Award in the Federation of Small Business (FSB) Celebrating Small Business Awards 2024.

The company scooped the top prize after demonstrating £15 million sales growth in just three years, swelling turnover to in excess of £30 million in 2023.

During this same period, Rose has achieved the number one position within the freezeable category, as well as being a top 20 sugar confectionery supplier in Scotland.

“The entire Rose team, past and present has worked exceptionally hard, so it is amazing to be recognised with this award,” commented Steven Watt, ceo at Rose Marketing UK. “The past few years have been a particularly challenging trading period so to have grown sales, staff and market share during this time has been an outstanding achievement for the business. We fully appreciate that these fantastic efforts can only be realised by the hard work and support of our amazing, dedicated staff. As well as growing our team almost three-fold, we are fully committed to their development, training and employee assistance.”

Steven continued: “Alongside this, we have a dedicated NPD team wholly committed to innovation, market trends and consumer appeal. Our extensive, innovative and affordable product range has definitely attributed to sales growth, but it is pleasing that our range now has national and global recognition across various grocery channels, in particular multiple retailers, cash and carry, discounters and wholesalers. We have also expanded into more international markets and are grateful to our partners in Europe and beyond.”

Rose Marketing collected the award at a reception at Bute House, Edinburgh on 19 March 2024. Winning in Scotland means that the company will automatically go through to the FSB UK finals which will be held on 9 May at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
