Titan Entertainment welcomes new head of pop culture

Titan Entertainment Group has welcomed Anthony Garnon to lead its Titan Merchandise team and Forbidden Planet direct to retail team.

Anthony (pictured) previously worked for Forbidden Planet for seven years, building its direct to retail programme.

He rejoins the company on Monday 4 March from his current role in the licensing department at Aardman.

In the new head of pop culture role, Anthony will take senior responsibility for the management and strategic growth of TEG’s merchandise and Forbidden Planet’s DTR teams, with all members of those teams reporting directly to Anthony.

“Anthony brings a vast amount of industry experience, unrivalled enthusiasm and high-level pop culture knowledge to our Titan/Forbidden Planet universe and we can’t wait to welcome him back to the group,” commented Andrew Sumner, Titan’s chief operating officer.
