Maurizio Distefano Licensing celebrates a decade of success

Italian licensing agency Maurizio Distefano Licensing is marking the 10th anniversary of its foundation in 2024, and has further growth and innovation in its plans.

Company president Maurizio Distefano, with his ceo partner Michela Marchese Patti, pride themselves of the agency’s 360 offering: all licensees are supported throughout the process, from the signing of the deal to product development, retail, marketing and digital activities.

The commitment has resulted in solid and long-lasting relationships between the agency and its Italian and overseas partners making it, according to License Global magazine, the number one agency in Italy, number two in Europe and number 37 in the world.

To mark the occasion, the agency’s logo has had a small makeover, with the addition of a celebratory balloon.

“Looking to the future, we will definitely continue to innovate and grow, always maintaining a high level of service and professionalism,” commented Maurizio. “We are excited to explore new opportunities and continue to build successful partnerships that allow us to reach new milestones. With my ceo partner Michela Marchese Patti, we want to warmly thank our entire team for their commitment and dedication, as well as our licensors and licensees for their trust and support over these extraordinary 10 years.”

MDL’s roster includes properties as varied as Bing, Bluey, Tara Duncan, Asterix, Charlie Chaplin, Baileys, Moomin, Fall Guys and a number of music acts.
