A ‘fierce’ new loaf has arrived in Morrisons stores celebrating Judith Kerr’s picture book, The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
The new Tiger Bloomer from Jacksons of Yorkshire features illustrations from the story on the packaging.
Jacksons of Yorkshire worked with HarperCollins Children’s Books and its licensing agent, The Point.1888 to bring the new partnership to life.
“We are delighted that Judith Kerr’s beloved The Tiger Who Came to Tea will be spotted in-store on Jackson’s bread,” commented Holly Tonks, editorial director, heritage brands. “It’s been a delight to work with them and The Point 1888 on this partnership. What a delicious teatime treat for our readers (or any tigers that may come to call).”
2023 marked the centenary year of Judith Kerr’s birth with some of her other books including Mog the Forgetful Cat and When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit. The Tiger Who Came to Tea has sold over one million copies worldwide.
