A new Care Bears festive experience is underway in Hong Kong, with Cloudco Entertainment teaming with Langham Place and toy platform kkplus for the Care Bears Express.
Through to 1 January 2024, Langham Place has been transformed into a ‘Care Bears Express’ Christmas station. The immersive installation features a pink and multicolored plaza, anchored by a five metre high heart-shaped Christmas tree and a two-metre giant Grumpy Bear.
Over 30 different Care Bears characters will spread their magic throughout the venue, with more than 300 plush toys joining in the festive fun.
Visitors will look up to see a 4.5-metre Cheer Bear at the 8th floor, extending a sparkling rainbow ladder down to the station on the 4th floor, showering the atrium with holiday greetings.
Langham Place and kkplus have also curated a limited time pop-up shop featuring over 100 exclusive collectables including the debut of Hong Kong’s first limited edition Care Bears plush toys, Christmas decorations, plus winter fashion items.
In addition, there are also 10 ‘whimsical’ photo spots, while the Care Bears Express station will also feature interactive games, with high scorers winning plush toys and gifts. A range of exclusive Care Bears Christmas gifts and interactive areas are also ready to be explored.
“Care Bears have always been about spreading joy and love, and what better time to amplify this message than during the Christmas season,” commented Charlotte Payne, director of international licensing at Cloudco Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to see the Care Bears Express come to life in Hong Kong, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the world of Care-a-Lot at Langham Place.”
