Funko sample sales raise over £16,000 for The Light Fund

Funko’s second sample sale of this year has raised a further substantial sum for the licensing industry charity, The Light Fund.

Held across Funko’s Hammersmith and Coventry sites from 6-9 November, the sales raised £16,323.24 for The Light Fund.

This is in addition to the £14,595.89 which the company raised back in March.

“Funko EMEA is delighted to support The Light Fund for the second time this year,” Lucy Salisbury, Funko’s director of licensing EMEA, told LicensingSource.net. “The charity has carved out a meaningful space in the UK licensing industry and does so much good through its impactful projects. We hope the funds we have raised will play a small part in their big-hearted goals.”

Trevor Jones, chair of The Light Fund, continued: “We are extremely grateful to Funko for their generosity and for supporting The Light fund with the proceeds of their sample sale for the second time this year. It really does make a huge difference and we are very proud to be able to help so many charities thanks to the generosity and support of the licensing industry.”
