RHS reveals major deal with Haws Watering Cans

The Royal Horticultural Society has revealed a partnership with Haws Watering Cans, the world’s oldest watering can company.

The RHS is now partnering with Haws in a deal, initially for three years, that not only involves an endorsement by the RHS of the full range of Haws watering cans, but also a Haws and RHS collaboration on new watering products.

The RHS is also contributing its gardening expertise to the supply of watering hints and tips for consumers to enjoy when they make a purchase of Haws products.

The RHS-endorsed range is available both online at the Haws site and a number of respected online resources, and at all the best British garden centres. The RHS name appears both on watering can tags and at points of sale.

“We have been focussed on making brilliant watering cans for gardeners since 1886 and are thrilled to be working with the RHS,” commented Mark Jenner-Parson, commercial director at Haws Watering Cans. “Our combined passion for gardening and gardeners means we are both really excited for the future. The art of watering is critical to the team at Haws, and we know that new products and guidance on best watering practices will flow from this collaboration.”

Cathy Snow, licensing manager at the RHS, continued: “With more than 130 years as a leading name in watering cans, Haws is synonymous with quality and excellence, an absolute must for any potential RHS partner. We’re delighted to be endorsing Haws products and working with Haws to support good watering practices.”
