Spotlight.1888 appoints new retail manager to meet growing demand

Spotlight.1888 – the retail services agency dedicated to helping brands and licensees with retail services, and retailers with licensing strategy – has responded to the increased demand for its services with the appointment of Mary Lewis as retail manager.

Mary (pictured above left with Hannah Redler, group retail director at Spotlight.1888) joins from The Entertainer where she held the position of licensing manager.

During her four-year tenure at the toy retailer, she worked in partnership with licensors and suppliers to activate best in class marketing initiatives both in-store and online, driving sales of new and popular brands. Prior to that she worked at a number of PR and marketing agencies.

Reporting to Hannah, Mary will support the team in driving existing and new client relationships, as well as driving cross category activations for The Point.1888 portfolio of brands.

“I have been fortunate to work with Mary for many years in her role at The Entertainer, and I’m now so thrilled to welcome her into my team,” commented Hannah Redler, group retail director at Spotlight.1888. “Mary brings a wealth of retail led cross category expertise, and I can’t wait to work together on what will be an incredible year ahead at retail for both Spotlight.1888 and The Point.1888.”

Mary continued: “I’m really looking forward to joining the Spotlight.1888 business as it continues with its impressive growth. With true purpose at its core, I can’t wait to get stuck in and develop exciting and engaging campaigns with retail partners across multiple categories and be part of True Purpose Enterprises tribe.”

Owned by True Purpose Enterprises, Spotlight.1888 is the sister company to retail first brand extension agency The Point.1888, food specialist Eighty Ate and creative agency Story.1888.
