Acamar Films extends international distribution agreements for Bing

Acamar Films has secured extended distribution for its hit preschool series Bing, signing renewal agreements with eight broadcasters and streaming services.

In Italy, Bing will continue its presence on pay TV through a renewal with DeAJunior on the Sky platform. The partnership will see seasons one to three of Bing continue to be available on the Italian service, with it having initially launched in March 2019.

In Poland, MiniMini has renewed seasons one to four (104 episodes) of Bing for pay TV. The agreement follows Bing’s strong performance and recent weekend marathons on the network, which secured viewership 134% over the channel average on the weekend of 15-16 April.

In CEE, JimJam TV currently airs 15 episodes of Bing every day on Free TV. The recent partnership extension renews seasons one to three in the region and will bring non-episodic content, such as short compilations of the various characters in Bing to the channel. The inclusion of additional Bing content is a first for any linear channel.

Meanwhile, Bing’s presence in Czechia continues to grow, with free TV broadcaster CT Decko renewing its agreement for seasons one to three.

Two partners have extended their agreements for Bing for Latvian audiences. SVOD broadcaster LMT has renewed its agreement for seasons one and two, while also adding season three for the first time on the platform. Free TV broadcaster, LTV, meanwhile, has renewed its distribution partnership for seasons one to three.

In Sweden, SVT Barn has signed a partnership renewal for seasons one to four, while in Australia, Acamar and ABC Kids have also agreed to continue to bring Bing to audiences in the territory. Bing first launched on the channel in November 2014.
