Licensing Matters rolls out luxury luggage range for Peugeot

Licensing Matters Global (LMG) has announced the launch of a line of luggage inspired by the French style of living and travelling, created under licence from its global client Peugeot.

The new line draws on the creative boldness of Peugeot’s heritage and ingenuity to offer a contemporary interpretation of the trunks of the past. The collection includes a range of unique trolley suitcases and soft bags in a selection of sizes, vibrant colours and shapes, with distinct ergonomic style that reflects French elegance enhanced by total freedom of movement.

Produced from technologically robust yet super-light materials, such as polycarbonate, recycled polymers and rubber, enhanced with leather accents and discreet metallic branding, the new luggage is designed to withstand the tests of time and travel, while also boasting impressive security.

Harnessing the Peugeot brand’s 213-year legacy of technical innovation, the collection boasts technical novelties such as:

  • Built-in anti-RFID (radio frequency identification) pockets designed to prevent personal electronic data theft, particularly useful for phones, cards and technology.
  • Handles and inner linings with anti-microbial treatment, to inhibit bacterial growth.
  • Inner linings made of rPET, a fully recycled material.
  • Quiet, highly manoeuvrable wheels, designed to be multi-directional and provide responsive handling.

Retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Galeries Lafayette, Le Bon Marche, Harrods, El Palacio de Hierro, Dillard’s and Macy’s will offer the line at a range of price points, from June this year.

Licensing Matters Global is at Licensing Expo (13–15 June), booth K-214.
