Boat Rocker attracting new partners for Orphan Black

Boat Rocker has unveiled a brace of new licensing deals for its successful Orphan Black franchise – as anticipation builds for the spin-off, Orphan Black: Echoes.

Dark Horse Comics has secured a worldwide deal for a range of publications based on the Orphan Black universe. As fans of the original series, Dark Horse Comics has a wide variety of titles planned including serialised comics, trade paperbacks, plus a ‘Making of’ high-end, coffee-table book of Orphan Black: Echoes.

Collectables company Pinfinity, meanwhile, has worldwide rights leveraging assets across the franchise.

Both partners’ ranges will launch in 2024.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dark Horse and Pinfinity, our first licensing partners for Orphan Black: Echoes,” commented Kate Schlomann, evp brand management and content marketing at Boat Rocker. “Orphan Black has amassed millions of dedicated and passionate fans, and we hope that they – along with new viewers – will love its spin-off just as much, as we embark on a new journey that explores the big questions of what makes us who we are.

“We can’t wait to talk to more prospective partners about the franchise’s exciting licensing program at this year’s Licensing Expo.”

Orphan Black launched in 2013 and ran for five seasons.
