Amount helps The Light Fund march closer to the magic £1 million mark.
Industry charity, The Light Fund, is moving closer to the magic £1 million of funds raised since its inception – with a special raffle held at yesterday’s Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards raising £4,340.
A host of big name prizes were kindly donated from a range of companies, with the highlight being a 7.5ct very rare turquoise/green sapphire, kindly donated by Russell Dever and Those Licensing People.
The lucky winner was Neil Harrington from home entertainment specialist Go Entertain (pictured with Russell accepting his prize).
Meanwhile, Gemma Witts from CPLG walked away with a £500 VIP shopping experience at Ted Baker’s flagship Covent Garden store, which also include a complimentary beauty treatment at Ted’s Beauty Spot in London’s Cheapside.
Ascot Racecourse also donated two tickets to the Furlong Club at Royal Ascot in June, while TLC and Endless Jennifer Lopez Collection donated a bracelet decorated with six gold and silver charms.
Penguin Ventures and King & McGaw put forward a print of the winner’s choice from the Vintage Ladybird A-Z Collection, while Brands with Influence donated a VIP family ticket to Lowde Fest 16, which takes place in July.
A bundle of gorgeous Happy Jackson baby accessories and gifts, plus a £100 voucher for Mothercare, had the audience coo-ing, while a four-hour Harley Davidson riding experience was donated by Brandcomply.com fuelled by Octane5.
Finally, JCB donated the Ultimate JCB Trade Tools Kit (worth £1,000), while Men’s Health and Golden Goose put forward a Men’s Health Olympic folding workout collection, including weights, plus a full set of the new Men’s Health Lab Vitamins and a one-year subscription to the magazine.
