Acamar Films teams with Madhouse as costume character partner for France

Acamar Films has secured an agreement with MadHouse Brands & Malls, granting the experiential specialist the rights to provide costume character appearances of Bing and Flop within France for three years.

The Bing and Flop costume characters made their debut French appearance in Toulouse on Sunday, 9 April as part of the Easter weekend event organised by Secours Populaire, the non for profit organisation. The family activities included an egg hunt, games, as well as meet and greets.

“MadHouse knows how to deliver character experiences that are true to the heart of a property while also captivating audiences,” commented Kirsty Southgate, director of experiential and promotions at Acamar Films. “We are sure the team will provide encounters with Bing and Flop that will not only delight French families but also strengthen the popularity of the series as it continues to win audiences on France 5 and Okoo.”

Rosalen Gonzalez Martinez, international business coordinator at Madhouse, continued: “Bing and Flop are quickly becoming pre-school superstars in France and it is clear that Bing is a series which already means a great deal to French families. We are so pleased to be able to add Bing and Flop to our roster and look forward to working with Acamar to bring children and families unforgettable experiences and interactions with their favourite characters.”

Bing licensing opportunities with France are being managed by France tv distribution.
