Vignobles Bardet has unveiled its new collaboration with Middle-earth Enterprises on the creation of three The Lord of the Rings wines.
The wines correspond to the three regions of Middle-earth where wine is produced: The Shire, Númenor and Dorwinion.
The deal was brokered by Asgard Media, which signed Vignobles Bardet as a client during lockdown.
“This project was a real passion for Kelvyn Gardner and Thibault Bardet, both sharing a life-long love of the Tolkien world,” commented Robyn Cowling, head of strategic partnerships at Asgard Media. “Kelvyn sadly passed away before completing the project, so it’s been wonderful taking the reins and seeing this mission through.”
The wines are inspired by the books of J.R.R Tolkien, with Vignobles Bardet using its winemaking know-how to bring the legendary appellations to life.
Robyn continued: “Vignobles Bardet are winegrowers observing the highest environmental standards. These wines will delight the taste buds of men, elves and hobbits alike. All that’s left to say is, ‘Ho! Ho! Ho! to the bottle we go’.”
