French sportswear brand, Patrick sets up in the UK

UK-based sports distribution company, Focus Brands has launched a new website for the French sportswear brand, Patrick.

Patrickuk.com launches today (19 October) with the brand’s ‘World Cup’ collection which includes t-shirts, track tops, swim shorts and bucket hats.

Patrick’s classic red, black and white colourways are prominent throughout, while the brighter colour palette pieces are a nod to the countries taking part in the World Cup.

Focus acquired the five-year licence for Patrick back in April, and will be managing design, distribution, sales and promotion across UK and Ireland. In addition, Focus currently holds the licence for US luxury outerwear brand Avirex, Italian sport apparel brand ellesse, as well as US lifestyle brands Nautica and Nautica Competition.

“We are thrilled to have the UK Patrick website going live,” commented Jennie Bianco, head of marketing at Focus Brands. “The brand has a loyal customer base, and we are excited to be able to offer them a new online experience, and with World Cup 2022 imminent the new collection is the perfect offering.”

Founded in 1892, Patrick produces football, basketball, running, cricket, leisure and athletic shoes and apparel. In the 1980s, it became the must-have football boots brand with sports players under the brand’s sponsorship over the years including Kevin Keegan, Michael Laudrup and Michael Platini.
