emoji and Medialink are celebrating the success of a recent shopping centre event in China, designed to help raise the public’s spirits following the pandemic restrictions in the country.
Back in May, an emoji-themed event landed at the Linyi MixC shopping centre in China. Several well known emoji characters made an appearance, helping to engage customers in the immersive event.
Visitors were also able to have a group photo with their favourite emoji icons.
The activity was widely promoted on various social media channels including WeChat, Little Red Book, Douyin, Weibo and Dianping, garnering over 100,00 visits.
