Danish kidswear brand, Molo readies Jurassic World: Dominion range

A new capsule collection is aiming to bring dinosaurs to life, with Danish kidswear brand Molo collaborating with Universal Brand Development on the hotly tipped Jurassic World: Dominion.

The new collection – which is packed with Molo’s signature use of colours and prints – sees the world of photorealistic dinosaurs printed on styles such as t-shirts and sweatshirts, along with the Jurassic World logo which will be embroidered on cargo pants, shorts, hoodies and jackets.

Molo is aiming to encourage children to explore and learn with the range by combining the themes of history, nature and co-existence.

“Collaborating with Molo on this Jurassic World children’s collection enabled us to combine elevated design and socially conscious production – creating a perfect connection to the upcoming film,” commented Marc Low, general manager and svpglobal lifestyle for Universal Brand Development. “Luxury and specialty retailers around the world will delight in this bold and colourful collection that appeals to kids and parents.”

The collection will also include items for babies and toddlers, as well as homeware and swimwear.

Most of the styles in the collection are made responsibly in 100% GOTS certified organic cotton or with recycled fibres from post-consumer waste.

Mogens Jepsen, ceo at Molo, continued: “The themes of sustainability and co-existence from the movie fit perfectly with the visions our designers generally have when designing new collections. To work with Universal has been an exciting and special experience and it has been thrilling to learn about another form of creative world and to explore our synergies.”
