Rainbow Productions has recently added a number of rising stars to its licensed character portfolio.
The character events company has welcomed a host of characters, from new brands such as JJ from CoComelon and Jon and Blitz from Dino Ranch, through to old favourites including Care Bears’ Grumpy Bear.
All characters are represented exclusively under licence and a further easing of Covid restrictions has provided an opportunity for leisure attractions, shopping centres, retailers and festivals to draw footfall and bring customers back to the community.
“Consumers are showing greater confidence going back to pre-pandemic behaviours and a face-to-face meeting with their favourite TV character is a compelling reason for a family day out,” commented Chris Stanton, head of UK sales at Rainbow Productions. “And with activations such as character trails, narrations and mini-shows adding value to meet and greet appearances, audiences are experiencing an even greater sense of involvement and interactivity through these events.”
Characters joining the Rainbow Productions’ roster include JJ from CoComelon; Dino Ranch‘s Jon and his dinosaur buddy, Blitz; Simon Super Rabbit from the French flash-animated TV series; Magic Light Pictures’ Zog; Grumpy Bear has joined Cheer Bear to represent the Care Bears family; YouTube sensation Baby Shark; Numberblock One from the preschool show, managed by Larkshead Licensing; and Pip & Posy, the new preschool show from Magic Light Pictures.
