Warner Bros. has unveiled its centennial logo to officially begin an extended roll out of activities leading up to and beyond the studio’s 100th anniversary on 4 April 2023. The logo incorporates the WB Water Tower and aims to celebrate Warner Bros.’ legacy of storytelling. Starting at the end of this year, and throughout 2023, Warner Bros.’ centennial celebration will include a fan-focused campaign involving every division of the studio – film, series, consumer products, video games, themed entertainment, studio tours, live events and more – as well its studios and network sister companies including HBO Max, the TNets (TNT, TBS and truTV), WarnerMedia Kids, Young Adults and Classics (including WB Animation, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and TCM).

The Prisoners of Geography global book franchise is extending into a range of licensed merchandise. Map Marketing is on board to develop a range of printed maps, posters and framed prints in various sizes and gifts featuring the map illustrations from the Prisoners of Geography illustrated edition. The deal was secured by Maggy Harris at BlueSkye Licensing on behalf of independent publisher, Elliott & Thompson.

The Point.1888 has been appointed as the UK and Eire licensing agency for the YouTube Originals series, Super Sema. The animated children’s series – produced by Lupita Nyong’o – is the world’s first series focused on an African kid superhero. The Point.1888 has been brought on board by edutainment company Kukua to manage the licensing programme and to focus on retail initiatives across all categories. This follows on from the news that UTA will be representing the brand in North America.

Silvergate Media has revealed plans for the broadcast launch of its new animated series, The Creature Cases, which follows the adventures of a unique detective duo who specialise in solving animal mysteries. The first season will debut on Netflix from 12 April

Lifestyle duo, the Style Sisters headed to London Olympia this week as VIP guest speakers at the 2022 Ideal Home Show. Gemma Lilly and Charlotte Reddington participated in three sessions at the show on Thursday 24 March on the Interiors Stage and in the Super Theatre. The theme of their sessions – Embrace Your Space – focused on talking to the audience and giving them practical solutions on de-cluttering and how to organise both wardrobe and home.
