Eagerly awaited exhibition opens in Brussels on June 30.
More than 75,000 pre-sale tickets have been sold for the upcoming Harry Potter exhibition in Brussels, a month prior to its opening.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition will open at Palais 2 of Brussels Expo on June 30 and run through until September 11.
In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, GES has produced and created the interactive travelling exhibition, where visitors are able to enjoy dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts film sets and see the craftsmanship behind authentic costumes, props and creatures from the films.
Brussels Expo will be the exhibition’s fourth stop in Europe following Paris, France, Cologne, Germany and Norrköping, Sweden.
Since its successful premiere at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in 2009, the exhibition has been presented in a variety of major cultural and entertainment institutions and museums in cities around the world including Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo and Shanghai, and has been seen by more than 3.5 million visitors worldwide.
Earlier this year, WBCP and GES announced the extension of the global tour with additional stops through spring 2020.
“Harry Potter: The Exhibition has thrilled audiences all over the world and we are delighted by the excitement it has generated in Brussels,” said GES president, Steve Moster.
“We are excited to bring the fans in Belgium a chance to experience the world of Harry Potter first-hand.”
