6 in 6 marathons: Day Three

Our trio are joined by Sion Aykroyd, Ffion Aykroyd and Ruth Leonard.

The Light Fund six in six marathon trio were given a much needed boost on day three of their epic challenge by a host of guest runners.

BBC Worldwide’s Jason Easy and Katie Ball, and Ben Lowe from Roy Lowe & Sons were joined by Sion Aykroyd and Ffion Aykroyd from Aykroyd & Sons, as well as Ruth Leonard from MI PR Global for part of the 26.2 mile run from Weedon Bec to Milton Keynes (Springfield).

You can visit the trio’s fundraising page by clicking here – running total (excuse the pun) currently stands at over £9,700.

Check out highlights from the third day below:

Meanwhile, Spearmark’s Martin Withers drove a 60-mile round trip to support the runners and Amscan helped to raise spirits by decking out the team’s hotel with a host of balloons.

Ben is also continuing to motivate the crew with his inspirational quotes. You can check out day three’s below:
