80 names have signed up for 325-mile ride from Bristol to Dublin starting on Tuesday June 12.
The Light Fund’s 2018 charity bike ride has already attracted a near full squadron of riders, made up of licensors, licensees and other industry contacts who will complete what is The Light Fund’s longest and toughest cycle event to date.
The charity hopes to raise £150,000+ for the various good causes it supports.
Event committee member Warren Traeger commented: “Interest in the Bristol to Dublin challenge has been fantastic, with so many new and experienced cyclists taking the challenge. There are just 10 places left and we urge any interested people to get in touch as soon as possible – whether you’ve cycled before or not, this is totally achievable and you’ll be a part of industry history.”
The ride is fully organised and supported by Classic Challenge, a specialist sporting event company. Riders will benefit from having all hotels, food and drinks provided, plus a fully professional crew comprising bike mechanics, full medical back-up and more.
The ride begins on Tuesday June 12, and culminates in a lavish finishing party at The Guinness Storehouse on Friday June 15 – headline sponsored by Amscan International.
