Twitter teams with Disney for Rogue One event

Social media site will host a Q&A with cast members and stream unreleased footage.

With the eagerly anticipated movie arriving on December 16, Twitter is helping to fuel the excitement around Rogue One: A Star Wars Story even further by hosting a special event.

The social media site has teamed with Disney to stream unreleased footage and host a Q&A with the director, Gareth Edwards, and the cast members on Friday December 2 (10am PT) from a ‘surprise location’.

The Q&A will be moderated by People magazine deputy editor JD Heyman and fans can suggest questions by tweeting #AskRogueOne.

Fans will be able to watch the live stream on Twitter at RogueOne.twitter.com, in Twitter Moments and via @starwars and @people accounts. They can also watch via Twitter apps for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Xbox.

In addition, special emojis can be included with tweets by using #RogueOne, #DeathStar, #StarWars and #StarWarsRogueOne.
