Tu ups licensed dress-up ahead of World Book Day

Sainsbury’s clothing label highlighting strong range of character-led costumes.

Sainsbury’s and its Tu clothing label are featuring a host of licensed dress-up options to help push its World Book Day promotions this year.

The retailer has a dedicated section on its website for the licensed apparel, with options available for both children and adults.

As with fellow retailer Primark, there is a strong super hero influence, with Captain America sets (for boys and girls), Batgirl and Spider-Man available.

Other character brands featured include The Gruffalo, Paddington, PAW Patrol, Minions, Power Rangers, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, The Wizard of Oz, Horrid Henry, Dennis the Menace, Harry Potter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Where’s Wally? and Mog the Cat.

There is also a raft of Disney character costumes available including Toy Story (Woody and Jessie), Belle, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Frozen’s Elsa and Anna, Captain Hook, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Snow White and Star Wars.
