Over 50 different companies supported the first official fundraiser of the year.
The fundraising total for The Light Fund’s first official event of the year – which took place in Blackpool last week – has now topped £12,000.
The industry decamped to the Northern hotspot last Thursday (March 23) for an evening of bingo, fish and chips and networking.
The event also acted as a platform for Bulldog Licensing to mark its tenth anniversary in the business.

GB eye’s Max Arguile – who was part of the organising committee for the event – commented: “After putting all the figures together – including Kelvyn’s kind purchase of the tiger – we are looking at over £12,000 being raised from the event in Blackpool.
“The Light Fund would like to thank over 50 different companies for their generous support in attending, and, of course, Bulldog Licensing for allowing us to join their 10 year anniversary celebrations.
“We look forward to seeing everyone swing their clubs at the golf day in June.”
The 2017 Light Fund Golf Day will take place on June 15. To find out more, contact Patrick Bailey by clicking here.
