Campaign part of plans to refresh and modernise the look of the brand.
The Rubik’s brand is launching a new TV ad campaign for 2017, as it looks to refresh and modernise the look of the brand and reach new audiences.
The TV campaign is set to launch in the UK, Spain, Germany, Poland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US.
Prime time media spots across all the major networks have apparently been confirmed.
Meanwhile, Rubik’s master licensee The Smiley Company is continuing to build up the licensing programme for the brand.
Recent activity includes a deal with Camelot Group – the operator of the National Lottery – which saw a Rubik’s scratch card hitting retail, accompanied by an online ad.
Other licensees include Stone Kids (apparel), Husky Retail (mini fridges and coolers), Fire Design (fire extinguishers), Editions Quo Vadis (stationery), Socksmith Design (apparel), PolyFlame (lighters and accessories), DOHE (stationery and backpacks), Boston America (food) and Bioworld Europe (apparel and accessories).
Rubik’s will be at Brand Licensing Europe next month on stand E70.
