Presence will be brand’s biggest ever event investment in Norway.
The Moomin brand is getting ready to make its biggest ever event appearance in Norway, at next month’s Oslo Design Fair.
The show is Norway’s biggest trade fair and meeting place for the design and interior industry in Lillestrøm, taking place from September 1-4.
As the Moomin brand seeks to increase its presence in Norway, Bulls Licensing has invested more than half a million Norwegian kroner in this event. This is the first time that the popular brand has set up its own Moomin café at the fair – as part of the greatest initiative ever launched in Norway based on a character.
Sophia Jansson – the niece of Tove Jansson and majority owner of Moomin Characters – will be present at the show’s press conference on September 1. In addition, later on the same day, she will speak about why the brand has become such a success.
Sophia commented: “I believe the secret behind Moomin’s success is that the stories are about timeless subjects that we can all identify with, regardless of nationality, religion or geography.”
Fiskars will also hand out 200 free Moomin mugs at the fair each day.
