Key marketing begins for CBeebies Land Hotel

Brands including Go Jetters, Bing, Postman Pat star in major Sunday Times promotion.

A number of licensed characters took a starring role on the front of The Sunday Times yesterday (June 18), as the marketing for the new CBeebies Land Hotel kicked off in earnest.

A four-page wraparound on the newspaper highlighted a competition which is being run by The Times and The Sunday Times to win a family stay at the new hotel, which is part of the Alton Towers Resort and opens in July.

Licences including Postman Pat, Go Jetters, Bing, the Octonauts, In the Night Garden and The Furchester Hotel were all featured on the wraparound.

The competition prize is a stay in a Bugbie Room for up to four guests at the hotel, plus breakfast and one day theme park entry.

Closing date is Sunday June 25.

In addition, there were also special offers for priority passes to CBeebies Land and 25% off short breaks to Alton Towers Hotel by collecting unique codes.

The competition is also being highlighted online.
