52 new episodes now being produced after eOne takes controlling stake.
Entertainment One has increased its ownership of Peppa Pig, taking a controlling stake in the property.
As part of the deal, creators Astley Baker Davies will be producing an additional 52 episodes. There are currently over 200 episodes of the award winning preschool show, which have been broadcast in more than 180 territories. Its international brand presence includes over 700 licensing deals which generate over $1 billion in retail sales per year.
Peppa Pig has been co-owned and distributed globally by eOne since 2007.
