Bright Group welcomes new contracts manager

New hire for illustrations agency will oversee all contracts for the group.

Illustrator agency Bright Group International has welcomed a new global contracts manager.

Sandra Tharumalingam Willmer brings experience from The Random House Group and Hachette. She most recently held the role of senior business affairs manager at Walker Books.

Sandra will assist Bright in reviewing and updating contracts across the group for its artists, as well as improving the overall contractual service Bright offers artists and clients.

She commented: “Having worked on the publisher side of the publishing contracts equation, I’m excited by this wonderful new opportunity for me to finally work for the artists and their best interests alongside their agents.”

Richard Scrivener, Bright’s non executive board member who focuses on brand licensing and media opportunities for the agency, added: “Sandra’s arrival is super timely as Bright embarks on a number of new exciting initiatives in the film, TV and stage arenas – with a particular emphasis on ensuring Bright and its clients are placed at the creative core of each project.”
