BBC Books adds to Doctor Who range

Raft of new publications due for 2016 across different formats.

The publishing arm of the BBC – BBC Books – has revealed a number of new Doctor Who publications due to launch this year.

The line-up will kick off with The Legends of Song – a collection of stories from River Song’s diary and the first full length book featuring the character to be published by BBC Books, reports The Bookseller.

The title will launch in February as an e-book, with a hardback edition following in June.

BBC Books will follow this with the arrival of Doctor Who: 365 Days of Memorable Moments and Impossible Things (March), Doctor Who: The Official Cookbook (August), Whographica (September) and The Whoniverse: The Untold History of the Worlds of Doctor Who (October).

The 10th Doctor – David Tennant – will also appear in Jenny Colgan’s new novel, In the Blood, which is due for release in May.
